Immersion
blueprint. immersions take a curated cohort of 10 - 15 leaders to a country in the Global South, for a carefully designed 10-day, all inclusive, immersion program — complete with field based learning sessions, facilitated leadership development labs, luxury retreat experiences, liminal space to relax, plus many unique surprises.
blueprint. is not a retreat, nor is it a conference with a nicer view. We create the optimal environment for transformation: to ask deeper questions of yourself, your mission, and the value you add to the world, both individually and through the platforms you lead. This space invites reflection, self-interrogation and an opportunity to recalibrate how you define impact in the context of evolving societal and organizational conditions.
Applications are open for Namibia 2027

Principles
PEOPLE
Meaningful learning and exchange with folks across lines of difference and social context, designed to deepen your empathy of people and place.
PURPOSE
Define and refine your core identity as a leader, who you are beyond your professional title and résumé.
IMPACT
Exposure to environments that expand your definition of impact and your aperture of social responsibility.
Ethos
The leadership development pipeline is broken.
(Unfortunately, another executive education program won’t fix it . . . )
For decades, we've sent our best people to conferences, executive MBAs, and weekend offsites — and called it leadership development. It isn't. It's information transfer. We are dramatically over-investing in the weakest form of leadership training, while underestimating the strongest.
The research is clear: transformative experiences most effectively build leadership competencies and capabilities—not classroom instruction or coursework.
That’s why we designed blueprint. to be different.

Leaders who already steward something significant — a company, a portfolio, a body of work, a family's capital — and seek a more effective and impactful way to catalyze personal, professional and organizational growth.
Cohorts are limited to 10–15 leaders. We review every application personally and accept those most aligned.
-
Each cohort spends approximately 10 days exploring one country in the Global South. We announce dates and locations annually. Our 2027 immersion will take place in Namibia.
-
Your investment begins at $35,000 per person, with final pricing varying by cohort year and host country. We confirm final immersion fees for applicants moving into the conversation stage of the selection process.
The immersion fee covers the full ten days of: accommodations, in-country transportation and meals, expertly curated field experiences, facilitated Leadership Labs, and post-immersion 1:1 integration session. International flights to and from the host country are not included.
Additionally, we allocate at least 10% of the immersion fee to subsidize an under-resourced high school student to have a similar experience via the Nyah Project’s Global Youth Leadership Fellowship Program. -
A different country every year, by design.
We’re excited to host the 2027 cohort in Namibia.
-
Our team curates every site visit, meal, and field experience exclusively for our cohort — the group is never folded into a public tour.
Unique access to local leaders, artisans, and, where the circumstances allow, heads of state and other national figures comes from deeper relationships developed by our country hosts. -
You'll receive onboarding materials and a pre-immersion questionnaire in advance, so you arrive ready to be present and go deep from day one.
-
You will have the option to experience the immersion entirely or partially “phone free.” We have still and video storytellers present so you never miss a moment. We encourage members to take advantage of the unique opportunity to disconnect.
