Step 3: Confirmation - Receive a formal invitation to join the next cohort, with details regarding the immersion location, dates, and what to prepare.

Once you accept and pay the program fee, our experience design team will with work with you to gather relevant information to personalize your experience and note any special logistical considerations.

Every application is reviewed personally. We select for people who make the cohort stronger — different in background, aligned in seriousness of intent, genuinely good to spend roughly two weeks with. Most applicants are not accepted in any given year.

We share a floor because we think it's fair to do so. Final terms depend on the cohort and the year, and are confirmed directly once we're in conversation. Typically immersion costs range from $35,000 - $45,000.

Your investment begins at $35,000 per person, with final pricing varying by cohort year and host country. Final terms are confirmed directly with applicants moving into the conversation stage.

This covers the full ten days of: accommodations, in-country transportation and meals, expertly curated field experiences, facilitated Leadership Labs, and post-immersion 1:1 integration sessions. International flights to and from the host country are not included.

Additionally, we allocate at least 10% of the immersion fee to subsidize an under-resourced high school student to have a similar experience via the Nyah Project’s Global Youth Leadership Fellowship Program.

The program fee covers the full cost of the experience, from logistics to accommodations to every element of the itinerary. We do not add separate or hidden costs to running this immersion at the level we design it. From time to time, sponsors offer a limited number of discounted scholarships. When they do, we prioritize applicants who can pay the full program fee, which lets us keep the experience accessible without compromising what we deliver.

Yes, though availability depends on the number of cohort spaces remaining and individual circumstances. When a payment plan is available, it follows an initial $5,000 deposit, with the remaining balance due no later than 120 days before the immersion begins.

Once published, the immersion dates will not change. However, we release the full itinerary a few weeks before the cohort touches down.

Expect a journey through several distinct parts of the host country, multiple dedicated Leadership Lab sessions woven through the schedule, direct engagement with local leaders and impact oriented organization, plus intentional moments of flex time and stillness.

Selecting a newish location each year forces our team into a posture of designing for transformation and awe, while retaining a fresh perspective of what each community has to offer us and our returning members.

We build into each immersion an intentional touchpoint, both individually, and if desired, collectively, to help each member integrate the new insights and learnings from the experience.
